MATLUBUR RAHMAN is a remarkable individual whom I have found everywhere help is needed. His commitment to helping others is unparalleled, and his actions speak volumes about his character. Throughout his lifespan, Matloob Bhai has donated blood more than 32 times, including 16 times since the lockdown began and we started UnNoticed Blood Donation Drive during the Covid-19 pandemic in April 2020. This selfless act alone demonstrates his dedication to save lives and supporting those in urgent need of medical assistance. Not only does he donate blood regularly, but he also actively motivates others to do the same, encouraging a spirit of giving and community support.
Matloob bhai is not just a blood donor; he is a compassionate human being who constantly goes out of his way to support people in need. His generosity and kindness extend beyond just blood donations—he is always present in times of crisis, ready to lend a helping hand. His unwavering support and humanitarian spirit inspire all who know him. One of his most notable acts of kindness occurred when he was one of four donors who stepped forward to donate blood for a 12-year-old girl in urgent need of four units of blood for a major operation. She had no donors at the time. In response, I posted a call for help on social media, and within a single day, we gathered the four donors and donated the blood. The girl underwent the operation, during which 2.5 kg of tumor was removed. Thankfully, she is now in good health.
Since then, Matloob Bhai has continued to donate blood, contributing 16 times through the UnNoticed Blood Donation Drive. His selflessness and dedication to saving lives have made an immense impact on many, and his efforts have inspired others to follow his example.
